Ryan Goosling
Ryan Goosling was found with 26 other geese by the Amazon center in Ogden, at the freeway off ramp. He would cross the road multiple times a day with the other geese, risking getting hit by a car.
Technically, the lady that lived across the street from where they were found owned them. But when the officer asked her, she said she couldn’t remember if they were hers or not. Unfortunately, usually in these types of situations the owners won’t claim them because they don’t want to get in trouble or fined by the city.
That’s when Wasatch Wanderers stepped in and rescued Ryan and his friends. They are all a domesticated breed of geese that can’t fly, meaning they can’t support themselves in the wild and eventually would’ve died either from starvation or getting hit by a car. We didn’t have space for all 27 geese, but were able to take in 6 of them and we think they love Sage Mountain.
Ryan has a loving partner, named Geese Witherspoon, who he’ll do anything for. He enjoys expressing how he feels and he loves protecting Geese.
